Activity
Work continues at the Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF) site. Crews will continue installing shoring for part of the future water treatment facility that will help manage incoming water flows before treatment. This work may result in increased daytime construction noise and possible vibration.
Crews will also continue concrete and foundation work for the future water treatment building and related structures. Underground electrical, plumbing, and treatment piping will be installed in several areas of the site. Crews will also continue installing a safety railing along the retaining wall.
Dates/Times
Monday through Friday, from approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Traffic Impacts
Construction activity will remain within the AWPF site. Heavy trucks and equipment will continue to enter and exit the site throughout the week. Motorists should drive carefully and watch for construction vehicles and crews near the AWPF entrance.
Construction is a dynamic process. This information and the project schedule are subject to change due to weather, field conditions, and other factors.
Neighboring City Activities
Urgent pipeline repair and installation work will continue in phases along Agoura Road between Lindero Canyon Road and Lakeview Canyon Road in Westlake Village. This work supports the Pure Water Project by upgrading critical infrastructure to improve water reliability and help prevent future service disruptions.
Work will occur along this section of Agoura Road and will include asphalt removal, roadway excavation, pipeline installation and repairs, underground equipment installation, and temporary roadway restoration. Daytime and nighttime work and traffic control are anticipated over the next four to six months.
