Activity
Pipeline construction will continue along East and West Hillcrest Drives, with crews working within different sections of the corridor as construction progresses.
East Hillcrest Drive
Pipeline installation will continue between SR-23 and Hodencamp Road, including work near the SR-23 interchange. Underground utility investigations near the interchange are expected to continue through the week.
West Hillcrest Drive
Final paving between McCloud Avenue and Marin Street is scheduled for this week.
Crews will continue pipeline installation west of Marin Street. Crews are anticipated to remove asphalt and place temporary steel plates further east. Pipeline installation in this section is anticipated to begin later in the week.
Dates/Times
Monday through Friday, from approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Traffic Impacts
Temporary lane closures, traffic shifts, turn restrictions, parking restrictions, and flagging operations may be in place as work progresses through each phase. Motorists may experience delays and should allow additional travel time.
Access to nearby homes and businesses will be maintained whenever possible. Please follow posted signs and instructions from traffic-control personnel.
Construction is a dynamic process. This information and the project schedule are subject to change due to weather, field conditions, and other factors.
Neighboring City Activities
Urgent pipeline repair and installation work that began in early October will continue along Agoura Road between Lindero Canyon Road and Lakeview Canyon Road in Westlake Village. This work supports the Pure Water Project by upgrading critical infrastructure to improve water reliability and help prevent future service disruptions.
Work will occur along this section of Agoura Road and will include asphalt removal, roadway excavation, pipeline installation and repairs, underground equipment installation, and temporary roadway restoration. Daytime and nighttime work and traffic control are anticipated over the next four to six months.
