Upcoming Utility Work and Roadway Restriping Along Agoura Road
Starting the week of November 9, Pure Water Project crews will begin utility work followed by roadway restriping along eastbound Agoura Road in the cities of Agoura Hills and Westlake Village, beginning near Oak Crest Drive and extending east to Reyes Adobe.
Crews will work for 4-6 weeks for both utility and restriping activities to accommodate upcoming project construction. Work is scheduled to take place on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Motorists and cyclists can anticipate temporary lane reductions, traffic shifts, and possible delays. Eastbound Agoura Road between Oak Crest Drive and Reyes Adobe Road will be reduced from two lanes down to one lane within designated work areas, with two travel lanes available outside the affected areas. Bicycle access will be modified, and access to nearby businesses and residences will be maintained, although temporary restrictions may be necessary during active construction.
These improvements will support the Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF), currently under construction in Agoura Hills. The AWPF is a key component of the Pure Water Project Las Virgenes–Triunfo, which will help create a sustainable, drought-resilient local water supply and strengthen long-term water reliability for the region.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down, follow posted traffic signs, and allow additional travel time when traveling through the area. Construction schedules and traffic configurations are subject to change.
