Beginning the week of November 8, nighttime pipeline construction activities for the Pure Water Project Las Virgenes–Triunfo are scheduled at the intersection of Lindero Canyon Road and Agoura Road in the City of Westlake Village. 

This work is part of ongoing infrastructure improvements to strengthen the local water system and improve long-term reliability. By replacing and upgrading critical water infrastructure, these improvements will help reduce the risk of future waterline breaks, minimize potential service disruptions, and support a more reliable water supply for the community. 

To safely install the new pipeline at this busy intersection, work will occur during nighttime hours. Performing certain activities overnight helps reduce traffic congestion, maintain access through the area, and allow crews to complete critical work as efficiently as possible. 

Crews will conduct roadway excavation, pipeline replacement, and underground equipment installation at the intersection. Construction is anticipated to take place in phases over approximately 4-5 months, on Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. 

Motorists should expect temporary lane closures, traffic restrictions, and possible delays during construction. Nighttime activities may require additional restrictions and detours, including a westbound Agoura Road closure at Lindero Canyon Road. Access to westbound Agoura Road from Lindero Canyon Road will also be restricted during nighttime work. 

Traffic control measures, including temporary signage and traffic cones, will be implemented to help maintain the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, motorists, and construction crews. All closure details and construction schedules are subject to change. 

Please slow down, follow posted signs, and watch for crews and equipment when traveling through the area.
